Welcome to Get Contractors Online. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Shaw Web Solutions, LLC.
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, accessing a website generated through the platform, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Description of the Service
Get Contractors Online provides software that allows contractors and local service businesses to create, publish, host, and manage business websites.
Depending on your subscription plan, the Service may include:
- Website generation and editing tools
- Contractor-specific website content and layouts
- Website hosting and SSL certificates
- An included Get Contractors Online subdomain
- Custom-domain connection or registration
- Lead-capture forms and lead-management tools
- Website analytics
- Search-engine optimization features
- Customer support
Features and availability vary by subscription plan and may change over time.
3. Account Registration and Security
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity performed through your account
- Keeping your business and contact information accurate
- Promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access
You may not share your account credentials with unauthorized users or use another person's account without permission.
4. Subscription Plans
The Service is offered through recurring subscription plans. Current plan pricing, features, and billing intervals are displayed during signup or within your account.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
We may add, remove, or modify plan features. Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated when required.
5. Free Trials
We may offer a limited free trial to eligible users. The duration and terms of a trial will be shown when you enroll.
If payment information is collected during the trial, your paid subscription may begin automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before that date.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue trial offers at any time.
6. Billing and Payment
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Payments are processed by Stripe or another third-party payment processor.
By providing a payment method, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge all applicable subscription fees, taxes, domain fees, and other approved charges.
You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information. Failed or overdue payments may result in restricted access, website deactivation, suspension, or termination.
7. Pricing Changes
We may change subscription pricing for future customers at any time. Changes affecting existing customers will be communicated before they take effect where required.
Taxes, third-party charges, domain-registration costs, and optional services may change independently of your subscription price.
8. Founding Customer Pricing
Customers who receive a founding-customer rate may retain that subscription rate while the applicable subscription remains continuously active and in good standing.
Founding pricing may end if the subscription is cancelled, terminated, remains unpaid, or is allowed to lapse. A customer who later resubscribes may be required to select a currently available plan.
Changing plans may affect founding pricing. Any applicable pricing changes will be shown before the plan change is confirmed.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription through your account or by contacting support.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
Payments are generally nonrefundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, except where required by law.
Domain-registration fees and other third-party charges are generally nonrefundable once processed.
10. Website Availability After Cancellation
When a subscription expires, is cancelled, or is terminated, the associated website may be unpublished, restricted, or made unavailable.
We may retain account and website data for a limited period after cancellation to allow restoration or satisfy operational, legal, or security requirements.
We do not guarantee indefinite retention of website content, leads, analytics, files, or account data after a subscription ends.
11. Subdomains and Custom Domains
Standard websites may be published on a Get Contractors Online subdomain. Subdomains remain part of our platform and are not transferred separately from the Service.
Certain plans may allow you to connect an existing domain or purchase a new domain through an integrated third-party provider.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate domain-registration information
- Maintaining access to externally registered domains
- Completing any required DNS configuration
- Renewing domains when renewal is not managed by the Service
- Complying with registrar and registry requirements
Domain availability is not guaranteed. Domain propagation, DNS changes, transfers, and third-party registrar operations may require additional processing time.
12. Customer Content
You retain ownership of the logos, photographs, text, business information, and other materials you provide to the Service ("Customer Content").
You grant Shaw Web Solutions, LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, modify, display, and distribute Customer Content as necessary to operate and provide the Service.
You represent that you own or have permission to use all Customer Content and that its use does not violate any law or third-party right.
13. Generated Content
The Service may generate or suggest text, layouts, images, descriptions, metadata, FAQs, and other website content using automated systems.

You are responsible for reviewing updates and ensuring that published information remains accurate, lawful, and appropriate.
We may impose reasonable technical limits to protect platform performance, security, and availability.
15. Leads and Customer Communications
Certain plans may include lead-capture forms and lead-management features. You are solely responsible for responding to leads and for complying with laws governing marketing, privacy, recordkeeping, and customer communications.
We do not guarantee that submitted leads are genuine, accurate, complete, or commercially valuable.
You must not use lead information for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited communications.
