Lambeth awards multiple HVAC contracts

Lambeth Living has announced a host of seven-year partnerships to provide HVAC and maintenance services across the borough.

The not-for-profit housing management company has appointed Mitie to install and maintain communal boilers, individual heating systems, water control systems and electrics in the south of Lambeth. Mitie will provide these services to residents in Streatham and Norwood.

A new contractor, Apollo Property Services Group Ltd, will aim to improve services for tenants and leaseholders living in South Lambeth.

It will be responsible for responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and the Decent Homes Programme in the south of Lambeth.

Lambeth has also announced a new partnership with Morrison to improve services to tenants and leaseholders living in central Lambeth.

Morrison will cover responsive repairs, planned maintenance and the Decent Homes programme in Clapham and Brixton.

A partnership with Mears will improve services to tenants and leaseholders living in the north of Lambeth. Mears will cover responsive repairs, planned maintenance, grounds maintenance, Decent Homes and estate cleaning in the north of Lambeth.

A partnership with T Brown has been struck to install and maintain communal boilers, individual heating systems, water control systems and electrics in central Lambeth. T Brown will provide these services to residents in Clapham and Brixton.

Chairman of Lambeth Living, Keith Hill, said: “With an ageing housing stock we are making sure we use our resources as efficiently as possible. I am pleased that residents will be able to take advantage of a fast, efficient and reliable repairs service that gets the job right first time and prioritises essential repairs.”
